Getting Started
- Download osTicket Core, v1.15.2 (Latest Release)
- Install as usual
- Download the source code from github
- Extract the contents to the root folder
Backend configuration
- Login to backend
/scp/login.php
- Click on admin panel
- Then click on Knowledge base
/scp/settings.php?t=kb
- Then enable Knowledge Base Status:
- Then goto Agent Panel » Knowledgebase » Categories
/scp/categories.php
- Create minimum three featured categories
- Then click on FAQs (
/scp/kb.php
) - Here you can view the recently created categories with zero contents. Open each category an add minimum 1 faq contents and make sure that Listing Type: is public
- Once saved you are all set. Visit your os ticket homepage and verify the website.
